Mercy Corps summer youth workshops

Check out our summer workshops for teens at the Mercy Corps Action Center. Digital Storytelling, ARTivism, and Action! Academy combine technical expertise, global issue content, and community organizing principles through artistic expression. Hurry – there is limited registration!

Digital Storytelling Workshop

 

Interested in developing your storytelling abilities on the web through photography, audio recordings, and text? This workshop will focus on building skills to tell compelling audio-visual stories about you, your community project or organization.

For Youth (grades 9-12), July 11 – 15: $175

ARTivism!

 

Join Action Center educators and guest artists for a week of ARTivism! Use photography, recycled objects, dance, and creative writing to mobilize your friends and community. Learn from experts in both the arts and international development, to understand content and create projects to convey a powerful message you care about.

For students entering 6th-8th grade: $150, June 27 – July 1;

Action Academy – International Development Summer Camp

 

The Mercy Corps Action Center and Saturday Academy present a week of hands-on exploration into global and local community development.

$399 for 5 full days; for students entering 9th – 12th grades.
