Interfaith Advocacy Day. 9 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 790 Marion St. NE, Salem. When the Oregon Legislative Assembly convenes in 2009, will the 2008 election translate into lawmakers supporting economic fairness and stability? Find out at the 2009 Interfaith Advocacy Day. The event will include worship, advocacy training, keynote addresses from community and political leaders, meetings with lawmakers, and prayer and reflection. After lunch, participants will march to the Capitol where they will be greeted by a legislators. Following this reception in the Capitol Galleria, participants will then make visits to lawmakers.
